Bay of Dreams, a pretty and petite filly by New Bay, first caught our eye at Tattersalls, where she fetched 25,000 guineas as a yearling. With her sleek bay coat and elegant build, she held clear pedigree appeal, but like many talented youngsters, she needed time to mature. Her debut run saw her place at Leicester in July 24, but she then needed a break to get fully to terms with racing life   .

Once she landed her first handicap mark early this year, everything changed. At Newcastle on March 10, Bay of Dreams broke her maiden tag in a mile handicap off a mark of 55, showing a smooth turn of foot and plenty of resolve. That success sparked a career reboot, and she hasn’t looked back.

She’s now notched two wins for Hasmonean Racing, along with several promising placings, pushing her official rating from 55 to 69—with further upgrade likely as she continues to strengthen. Timeform confirms she “is a smooth travelling and versatile filly” , while her Racing Post stats show consistent progression and tactical maturity  .
