Inspired by Aristobulus, the name of our first horse with trainer James Ferguson, our syndicate name takes on a historical theme. The Hasmonean’s were the ruling dynasty of Judea and surrounding regions during classical antiquity, from c. 140 BCE to 37 BCE. Whilst their rule ended long ago, Hasmonean Racing aims to create their own legacy in the racing world.

Our Horses
We limit our ownership to a maximum of 20 owners per horse meaning we believe we can strike the balance between value and ownership experience. Unlike some syndicates offering hundreds of shares for each horse we can offer a personable, hands on service to maximise not only the race day experience but the entire journey.
With regular video and written updates, you can enjoy the story from start to finish and experience racehorse ownership to the fullest.
See you in the winner’s enclosure!

Meet The Trainer

James Ferguson
Based at Newmarket, our horses will benefit from the leading facilities the home of racing has to offer. Trained by Group One winning trainer James Ferguson, out of Saville House, our horses will be joining a relatively new yard which has already established a win strike race rate around 20% and is currently operating at 50% runners to winners with juveniles in 2022. With the likes of El Bodegon, recently winning the Group One Criterium de Saint-Cloud, and Miss En Scene already winning at Group level and now heading to the Breeders Cup, there looks likely to be many more top races to be won next year for this exciting new operation.
